ADULTS | KIDS

ADULTS:

Beginner:
For new students with little or no experience in jiu-jitsu. This class emphasizes the basic 100 techniques, passing and defending the guard, reversals, and holding positions.

Mix:
For colored-ranked belts and advanced white belts who have been approved by the instructor. This class emphasizes techniques and strategies especially for competition in sport jiu-jitsu.

Advance:
For colored-ranked belts and advanced white belts who have been approved by the instructor only. Emphasis on grappling.

Open Mat:
This is a time for practice. Each level of student is encouraged to train by grappling with other students or practicing technique. The instructor or higher-ranking belts monitor sessions.

Note: A gi is required for all jiu-jitsu classes.


No Gi:
This class specializes in submissions and all jiu-jitsu techniques not requiring a gi whether you are competing in submission wrestling, sports jiu-jitsu, or MMA. A rash guard or t-shirt is mandatory, no bare skin allowed.

Team Training:
Emphasis is placed on refining techniques for jiu-jitsu tournaments and MMA competiton.

KID'S:

MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Little Shogun Program

Sign up now - limited class size.

This program provides an overview of the sport including demonstrations and instruction of the different positions, basic boxing techniques, simple chokes, passes, and exercises. This program helps build girls and boys self-confidence in a fun and positive environment.

7 - 10 years old

  • Monthly
  • Twice a week
  • Mondays 5:00 - 5:45 pm, Saturdays 11:00am - noon (practice)
  • Cost: $75 per month
